The Canary Islands, the archipelago is located just off the northwest coast of mainland Africa. The islands from largest to smallest are:
TENERIFE, FUENTEVENTURA, GRAN CANARIAS, LANZAROTE, LA PALMA, LA GOMERA, EL HIERRO, LA GRACIOSA, ALEGRANZA, AND MONTAÑA CLARA.

Four of Spain's thirteen national parks are located in the Canary Islands, more than any other autonomous community. Teide National Park is the most visited in Spain, and the oldest and largest of the Canary Islands. The parks are:

Canarian cuisine refers to the typical dishes and ingredients in the cuisine of the Canary Islands. These include plentiful fish, generally roasted, papas arrugadas (a potato dish), mojos (such as [[w/index.php?title=Mojo_picón&action=edit&redlink=1|mojo picón]]), and wine from the malvasia grape.
